St. John's Wort by SciFit is a flowering plant indigenous to all of Europe, western Asia and Northern Africa, that has been used to treat depression for centuries. St. John's Wort has been shown to be an effective anti-depressant in several clinical trials. It has been approved by Germany's Commission E, a branch of the German FDA, for use internally in the treatment of Anxiety and Depression and externally via a oily Hypericum preparation for the treatment of Inflammations of the skin, Blunt injuries, Wounds and Burns.
